A mixed bag today even for Lahv Lahn, from Marcus Maximus to under the counter bungs for doctors to something as serious as this topic; any bets on what's next? Elephant crushing? Household charge hunger strikers? Ronan and Yvonne's "heartbreaking" break up?

I'd say Joe would rather discuss his genital warts than his wages.

It's amazing they way they can use the organs again though. Amazing talent... And I'm think I'm a great lad when I use a hard drive out of an old PC.. :(

He's really itching to get to the "and what were your final words to him" type of question here. Rather than focusing on the positives from this tragedy and bravery of the donor and family.

Misery loves Joe, Joe loves misery.

Joe is going to donate his Brain to medical science.

edit: and his moral compass too...

Medical science will take one look and send them back as broken beyond all hope.

Surely that's Mooney (and Brek) territory :D

A fiver on Elephants after the next break-een.

He's really on a tear hunt here though, mercifully with no success so far.

You don't get it. What he's doing is drawing out her story. He wants people to hear the whole story, not sugar coated, so people who may find themselves in the same position as that poor woman can relate to the pain she went through. The message is, yes the pain is horrendous, and nothing can eliminate it, but *despite that*, she still had the courage to make the decision and got comfort from it. It'd be easy to agree to allowing a strangers organs to be donated. It's very difficult to allow your childs organs to go through that, and Joe asking the hard questions shows exactly what Gearoids mother had to do.

Caller: "After the organ donation, I regretted it, Joe".
Joe: "Whhhhhy? did you feel guilty?"
Caller: "No Joe, I owed money to the guy that was saved with his organs".

He is being unfair to Treasa, expecting her to reassure the other woman that everything was done correctly in her son's case.

Questions about her particular case should be asked to a representative of the Hospital, not another woman who happened to go through a similar experience.

Unfortunately for those waiting for a transplant, the reduction in fatal road accidents(fortunately) means that there are a loot less organs available for transplant

Apparently that is not the case, although they don't back up their claim with statistics
Last year surpassed the previous record of 91 deceased donors which was set in 1998. There were 58 deceased organ donors in 2010.

The association noted that the highest number of donors came in the same year as the lowest number of road traffic deaths.

This dispelled “the public myth that most organ donors come from road traffic accidents”, chief executive Mark Murphy said.

Thought the Donegal Nursing Home story would top today's agenda. Ticks a lot of boxes for Joe.

Deaths....The Elderly....Nursing Homes....HSE.....all he's short is a loose connection to Portugal (probably hoping the virus originated there) to call a full house.
