    Fair play to the woman for taking action against the scum who attacked her home. And shame on the Gardaí for refusing to act.

    A lot of twits on this thread looking for a cheap laugh and whoring for thanks, simply because the attackers only use eggs.

    To be fair, as has been discussed, the photo is probably a photo shop and even if it's not we're not sure they're actually gardai in the photo.

    I think these people are forgetting how cheaply you can run the army, versus what it costs to run the Police force. A newly qualified private earns about 16,000 a year basic pay. What does a newly qualified guard earn?
