Pffft, I don't want Irish Ferries on my radio to explain what they done to you Martin. There's much more important issues to be discussed, such as the increase in army numbers in order to prepare for the upcoming coup.

Fair play to the woman for taking action against the scum who attacked her home. And shame on the Gardaí for refusing to act.

A lot of twits on this thread looking for a cheap laugh and whoring for thanks, simply because the attackers only use eggs.

You can be sure if she did nothing, it would progress to rocks and worse.

Nobody should have to live like that. Why are people here so eager to defend these hoodie wearing scumbags ?

    "They're a good company"..

Get back in your box, Joe, nobody asked for your personal opinion... He never prefaces any complaints about Ryanair with the same platitudes.

It is a bit hypocritical for him to say there is no need for an army while he sits back on his Army pension.

Joe, will the army step in if the milk tankers go on strike ?

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,104 ✭✭✭Technocentral

UN work is admirable but doesn't justify huge expense of an army.

I think these people are forgetting how cheaply you can run the army, versus what it costs to run the Police force. A newly qualified private earns about 16,000 a year basic pay. What does a newly qualified guard earn?
