    He's saying that banks won't lend to people to buy houses - but the banks can't lend because they have no security because they can't repossess people who don't pay their mortgages. He also thinks repossession is a disgrace.

    "the banks belong to us"

    Clever guy he may be but he has that all wrong. The Irish people do not own the banks, what we done is secure the debt obligations of their debt to the ECB so that the foreign bond holders will not lose a cent. What we're left with after that debt is paid is anyone's guess.

    Joe with another mispronunciation today. He couldn't get his tongue around "Pharmacoeconomics" so instead called it "FARM-o-economix".

    Better than "veh-hickle" I suppose......:rolleyes:
