a very relaxed Michael sounds like he's well used to irate cyclists reporting near death experiences.

Move along, nothing to see here.

Sure what are you complaining about Mr. Cyclist, it's not like you were nearly killed by an artic this morning. Honestly.

Joking aside, I have been hit by a car on my bike and it's pretty frightening. I' sure seeing an artic swerve into your path would frighten you more than a Funny Friday Compilation cd.

OK, so cyclists break the lights therefore it's ok for some moron to drive recklessly in an 18 wheel truck?=?

I got knocked down a six foot embankment by a Johnston, Mooney & O'Brien bread van... Needless to say I've been eating Brennan's since that day..

Just tuned in. "How many truck drivers have been killed by cyclists. None"

    I wouldn't agree with that.

The cyclist sounds like a knob.

Cyclists may not have "killed any truck/bus drivers" but they can certainly cause accidents. In my experience the callers who are saying that cyclists in Dublin ignore traffic lights regularly and flout the rules of the road as if they don't apply to them are quite right. I always thought there should be more Garda Traffic Corps on patrol...

the Rock Road is pretty dangerous for any mode of transport, the entrance to the the Blackrock Clinic being a case in point

This is the funniest segment on liveline in ages.

    The cyclist is a d1ck.

Quality points being made by D'Unbeliveable's driver there, my favorite being "you wouldn't have a license for driving a wheelbarrow I'd say"......I'd bet he was on the debating team in school.

The best :rolleyes:cyclists are the ones who use the dublin bike scheme, you know its donkeys since they've been on a bike as they fly through junctions, up the road the wrong way and on the paths. They are nuts!
