    12 euro for a new one from Shannon. The sooner you apply for a new one the sooner the old one will turn up....

    What do you need it for? NTC? I didn't have & and didn't bring mine and it was never requested.... found the original one after the ntc test, then the new one arrived in the post. They're both in a "safe place" until the next test....

    The last time I brought a car in for an NCT, a young woman came into the waiting area & walked up to the counter in a state of distress. Flustered, she explained to the man behind the counter that she was late for her NCT as she couldn't get the hubcaps off the wheels of her car.

    He told her not to worry & would send one of the lads out to help her.

    While I was outside having a smoke, I saw one of the tester lads walk over to her car, take one look at it & with a smile on his face, inform her that her car had alloy wheels!
