There are very few names in the international superstar dj pantheon who haven't been making the trip to Dublin on an almost annual basis so major kudos is due to brand new promotion outfit FNO for pulling off a real coup for their Dublin launch party with the first Irish show in over 5 years from Italian electro king pin Benny Benassi at the award winning Wright Venue on Friday March 2nd. When you add in current Choice music nominees and ireland's hottest dance music export of the past 5 years, the Japanese Popstars you know that this is a party you can't miss ! Tickets have moving at a rate of knots for one of the biggest dance line ups of the year .

Hailing from Reggio Emilia, Italy, Benny Benassi rose to worldwide fame with the 2002 release of his enormous chart-topping hit single “Satisfaction.” It was with that tune that he initiated a new genre of music dubbed as Electro, which earned him the crown “Godfather of Electro.” The demand for Benassi as a DJ is incredible and he headlines major festivals and venues around the world, including performances at this year’s Coachella and Electric Daisy Carnival festivals and major North American clubs including Pacha in New York and Government in Toronto. Benassi’s new album Electroman released in June topped charts world wide and collaborations with everyone from Iggy Pop to Pitbull and Skillrex mean that this bicycle riding dance music megastar is more on fire now than ever !

The Japanese Popstars are the cherry on top of this line up with their Controlling your Allegiance album having just clinched a choice music prize nomination and an international schedule to rival Richard Bransons ! As regular collaborators with Benny Benassi, it made perfect sense for the Northen Irish Trio to join the party coming as it does the week before the winner of Irelands most coveted music prize is announced. Irish scene stalwarts The Italian Factory, and Nail Regan open up the show at the always impressive Wright Venue and tickets are on sale at ticket master outlets nationwide at the moment .
