Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi again

I'm think of buying either a 8 foot krone or kuhn disc mower,

are these able to mow heavy lying meadows cleanly ??

I just want to get some views on this because I know as soon as I ring up the dealer of course he is going to tell me they are fit too :D

    Thanks again

    Joseph

Well we have been operating a 7foot 6 kuhn gmd 66 since 1990 cutting up to 300 acres a year including heavy silage crops with no bother and up to 2 years ago that was only on a 1980 60 HP 2 wd deutz, its more about forward speed, pto rpm and blade condition than raw power...

A few years ago we were borrowing a 8ft non conditioner kuhn and ran it on a mf 135. It could barely lift it and she was mowing in the low box but it worked.

We have a 8ft krone conditioner 243 on 90hp and it runs grand.
with 540rpm or above with good blades she will skin the ground.
    the kuhn will also
