THE DEBUTANES: Hailing from the basements of Galway, The Debutantes were formed in 2011. Chiming beneath a veil of reverb, the music of The Debutantes is structurally straight-forward indie but shimmers in its own simplicity. Sounding more sun-soaked than their home turf of Galway, the band’s wash of layered noise, hazy vocals and strummed guitars ring out in heart-melting dream pop. http://www.facebook.com/thedebutantesmusic?sk=info

DOTT (GALWAY): Sunny garage rock with dash, shizzle and, as evidenced on debut zinger “Leave Tonight” & featuring members of Grand Pocket Orchestra, Blasterbra, Rotes and Nevernoodz. http://www.facebook.com/dottmusic?sk=wall

GIRL BAND: Girl Band are regarded as one of Ireland's most promising up and coming bands and they were recently list in Hot Press' 50 Irish Acts of 2012 , The Irish Times and The Irish Independents list of New Irish Bands for 2012. As a live act Girl Band are exciting, intense and overwhelmingly entertaining http://www.facebook.com/girlband

THE NORTH SEA: The North Sea were formed in 2010 through a collective love of ’80s and ’90s indie and it certainly shows, with echoes of The Wedding Present, The Smiths and The Stone Roses flickering through. The Dublin five piece have been busy on the live front playing shows across Ireland and the UK including Whelan’s One To Watch 2012. The band has served us a sumptuous sneak peek of their forthcoming EP with ‘Decay’. It is as close to a perfect indie song as it gets with guitars, drums and Eoin Kenny’s stunning vocals all woven together into a lush and rousing number. http://www.facebook.com/thenorthseapage

DEATH IN THE SICKROOM: Death In The Sickroom play happy-go-lucky jingle jangle pop songs with underlying themes of violence, sex, isolation and working class life. http://www.facebook.com/Death.In.The.Sickroom?sk=wall
