Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

First off, find out what he likes. There are so many different styles. When I was 19, I would of hated to be given a moped instead of a motorbike.
If you do buy one as a surprise make sure you buy one of the main brands like HONDA or YAMAHA because these machines are cheap and cheerful to start with, and the lower end chinese ones will fall apart quicker than you can say "what was that funny noise".

Ya there is a certain type of person who likes a moped and type that likes a motorbike.

Personally I would hate to have gotten a moped when you could have gotten a reasonable motorbike for a similar price.

First thing to do is what he is licensed for... Under 18 but over 16 he can get a licence for any A1 (up to 125cc, excluding a few mentally tuned ones) bike. So he's ok there.

Second thing - insurance. At his age it'll probably cost a multiple of the cost of the bike. At this stage you will almost certainly give up.

Third stage - get proper training...

    Scrap the cap!
