Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi All,

Thinking of putting the tractor and implement out on hire. What would the going rate be per hour/day or even per acre

4wd Tractor, driver and 8ft roller
4wd tractor, driver and 4m aerator
4wd tractor driver and 8ft topper
    3ton digger & driver

and then day rate for self drive/hire of

    4m aerator
    3ton digger and plant trailer

    Thanks all

    hi iakill farm,
id reckon the first 3 would be best suited to per acre as they are slow jobs

is that a trick question ;).

The digger, tractor and implements are all paid for.

So after that diesel repairs and maintainance, depreciation and driver

So diesel would be €10/€14 an hour (im guessing) and maybe €16 to cover the rest plus driver? so charge €30 an hour?

No, the starting point for any price is to know your costs.

price it allowing for replacement, maintenance, overheads, bad debts, time, etc.
