I've just tested my phone line on bonkers.ie (https://www.bonkers.ie/compare-broadband/your-results/) and I'm getting the following message:
"Your telephone line has been tested - it can support broadband at speeds of up to 1 Mb/s",
I've been sold a 3 Mb/s service though - does this mean the extra 2mb/s is of no use to me???
(This is apart from the fact that I was assured I'd have have my broadband for next week before I ordered the new phone line and again when I booked the internet only to recieve a mail saying it'll be another week - a great reintroduction to eircom service all round).
