New hadrosauroid dinosaur- related possibly to Gilmoreosaurus- found in Michoacan, México (good year for Mexican paleontology :D)
No info on its size just yet, but it seems that it lived 85 million years ago. It happens to be the first new dinosaur found in Michoacan, as well as the first endemic (thus far) ornithopod from Mexico AND the first dinosaur to have a nahuatl name, nahuatl being the language of the Aztec. (Quetzalcoatlus doesn´t count, of course). Huehuecanauhtlus means "ancient duck".

I think the pronunciation would be "weh-weh-kan-auh-tlus"

    All I can say is:

    Yes I thought this too.

Why can't they just use simple names like.... Tom.

I can pronounce Tom, even with me teeth out.
