346531808714467West Wicklow Classic & Vintage Vehicle Club are running the second Hollywood Hills Tractor and Classic run on Sun April 29th. All Tractors, Classic Cars, Motorcycle, Commercials etc are welcome. This run is in aid of the National Rehabilitation Hospital who do excellent work with patients following Road and Farm accidents etc. See NRH.ie for details.
Following the success of last years Hollywood Hills Run we would ask all classic and vintage enthusiasts to help us make this years event bigger and better. There are two routes, one for tractors and slower vehicles and a longer route for cars, bikes etc. We even had a 1940 bicycle take part last year. Both routes cover very scenic roads with mountain and lake views. If it has wheels bring it along and if it has an engine and no wheels we want to see it too.
There will also be refreshments, entertainment , fun and games for all the family in the field all day.
See our facebook page for this event. https://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Hollywood-Hills-Tractor-Run-2012/346531808714467
For more information about this run or the club tel 087 6863602 or see our website. or search for wwcvvc on facebook.

Great photos Jack. Unfortunately events clash at this time of year but we do try to avoid clashes. I hope the Total Opel guys had a good run. I saw a few on the road over the weekend.
Photos dont show temperature but be assured that on that day in Hollywood there was a biting north-easterly wind that would shave a mountain goat. It was an achievement to hold a camera never mind capture great shots. Well done to Jack and Morris for all the photos and video of the day.
Thanks to everybody who supported the run and helped us raise a substantial sum for the NRH. THe guys who drove open tractors 20 miles and more just to get here and then completed the run before driving home deserve special mention. They won't thaw out for a week.
West Wicklow Classic & Vintage vehicle Club wish to thank most sincerely all who took part in the run, our sponsors, our bike marshals, everybody who helped on the day or beforehand and in the cleanup afterwards. Thanks also to the Duffy family for the use of the field and their massive support for this event in many other ways.

West Wicklow Classic & Vintage Vehicle Club.Hollywood Hills 2013 is on July 21st. The move to a July date should ensure ,at least, warmer weather than last years run in April. We will have loads to see and do in the field all day and refreshments for early arrivals before the run and refreshments for all afterwards. As always it is in aid of the National Rehabilitation Hospital.
Two road runs take place, one for tractors and slower vehicles and a separate run for cars, motorcycles and faster vehicles. Both routes take in really nice views of mountains and lakes.
We hope that this will be the biggest and best hollywood Hills Run so far and it is in support of a most deserving cause.
Entry fee for the run is as usual €20
Admission and car parking are Free.
