    Hi lads,

Looking to get the mother a tablet for her birthday....her laptop is reliant on being plugged into the mains and after messing around with our iPad she liked the convenience of the tablet.

It doesn't need to do anything special - seriously - she checks her email, looks at Facebook ( I know :o ) and very occasionally might look up a website on holidays - and that really is it.

Can anyone recommend a nice little tablet for her around the 150-200 quid mark?

    Thanks.

bit over your budget (30 euro) but on sale sometimes in hmv.

blackberry playbook also available for just over 200 I think.

don't buy one of the noname-brand chinese examples as battery life is usually awful.
