iphone movie to imovie - can you do this?

    Hi,

    I am completely in the dark here, if anyone has the patience to fill me in I'd appreciate it.

    Can you really not get your video from your iphone to imovie on laptop for editing? Imovie is only recognising the webcam as video source.

    And...I can't find the special effects icon on imovie - any clues?

    I'm baffled. Thanks.

    Thanks so much. Made some progress today - that link is great. Making the DVD 'with sound' is the next challenge :rolleyes:
