Seen it somewhere that the club themselves are celebrating that they won 30 titles on the pitch or something to that nature is their excuse anyway.

As a Villa fan I'm very disappointed that our kits are being supplied by Macron.

The lime green away is especially tacky and is complemented with horrible hoopy socks

Macron can make nice stuff but so far the Villa ones don't look great.

The Macron home is suppose to be horrible in the flesh. Lots of the lads on VT got it and say the sizes are all over the place and the fit is really loose and baggy even in the smaller sizes.

Macron is a shít company but I was really hoping that they would at least made the Villa shirts as nice as the West Ham efforts and tone down on their over use of there crap logos but they did neither.

Our away is very similar to the Sheffield Utd away kit and the goalie kit is just a team wear kit with a Villa badge on it. Plus our shorts are the same as the Leeds shorts. Flag ship team my hole!

Piss poor effort from a piss poor company, it was to be expected though.

Yeah the away kit was beautiful that season. Overall I think that Nike did a good job for Villa and their training gear was always class!



Macron are one of the worst kit manufactures out there, I can't believe Villa signed a 4 year deal to wear the tat that they produce. I for one won't be buying any of their crap anyway.

Nike's kits for Villa were a bit meh to be honest. I think they somehow got credit for being quite boring actually. For a big company the kits were very uninspiring. Will wait to judge Macron kits until I see them in the flesh.

It seems quite split over on VT about what it's like in the flesh. Oddly, those with the worst to say about it haven't actually felt the material or anything, so like you I'd say they'd have pished all over it regardless of how it turned out.

I'm undecided til I actually see it in the flesh. But in pictures it's the nicest design we've had in ages. It's got the classic villa loom with a touch of originality about it. The collar looks great and the embossed lion is a nice touch.

Again though I don't think macron could win with you as you were complaining about then being crap since the deal was announced

As for why we went with them, it's fix they offered us the most money and won't mess us around like Nike did. Unfortunately, even though their kits are better than anything Nike did for us, I'm not expecting anything nice from the training kit range

If Macron went the extra mile for us, as we were supposedly their flagship English team, and if they gave us a classic looking, well fitted kit like Napoli's then I would have been happy.

But instead with get the exact same kit as Leeds Utd with and an added collar. Are you seriously happy with that? I think it's a total cop out by them.

They put much more effort into their West Ham kits as both the home and away efforts over the last few seasons have been streets ahead of the lazy teamwear templates that they churned out for Villa, plus they didn't feel the need to plaster their stupid \O/ logo over those kits.

Give me Nike, Umbro, Adidas, Puma, etc over Macron every time.
