How many people on here buy the new jersey simply because it's their clubs jersey? Reason I ask is that I don't. I will not buy a jersey that I don't think is nice regardless of it being my team or not. Now that united jersey, both of them are absolute muck but you can guarantee you'll see thousands of them around the streets. Do people buy them because it's the new thing?

Quite like the new LA Galaxy shirt..

Those new United jerseys look disgusting, i wont be buying them will stick to this seasons kit.

Horrid - bought myself the reprints of the black 94/95 kit and 85 FA Cup final kit yesterday instead. No chance will either of the new jerseys grow on me, horrid yokes.

I wonder will supermarkets kick out people wearing that new United jersey thinking they are wearing pyjamas.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,900 ✭✭✭V9

I kinda like the new Chelsea one. No doubt there will be war over the red again. Same template as the Spanish home for the euros, isn't it?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,379 ✭✭✭hefferboi

Chelsea's jerseys change slightly every year. Some scam.

There were white shoulder pads and hoops on this years one. Its kinda hard to perform a radical change on a shirt where the team is prominently blue.

If it DID come into radical change, there'd be uproar. Damned if ya do, damned if ya dont.

The people who buy them might actually like them. Just sayin'.

I generally buy a new home jersey every 2 years but I've bought the last 3 Chelsea home kits and think that this years one and the 09-10 have been the best. Last years one wasnt great and I'm not a fan of the V neck collar really so the new one wont be purchased, if it is indeed that jersey.

my GF bought me last seasons Liverpool home one,

that was an epic valentines present and the only one i've owned in years.

and no i'm not putting up pics before anyone asks

Any previews of the new villa jerseys by macron. cant be as bad as the ones we have now with the home one looks like a chess board with all the square claret sections on it altough i like the away one

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,450 ✭✭✭jebidiah

that holland one is nice, whats the design on the sides?? sparkles would surely be banned??

I think the most exciting will be the wait for the new Liverpool jersey.

god only knows what it will look like! I imagine, as they are a big big company, trying to break into the market, it will be a good design, with a lot of research gone into it

The Liverpool one is taking it's cues from US Military patterns. It has a red/dark red camo effect and epaulettes. It will evoke the US's proud military tradition as a nod to Warrior Sports themselves and Liverpool's owners.

I was hoping the Man U kit was a fake, but my hopes were shattered before I got to the end of page 1.

I have to admit, I've liked the shirts produced by Nike over the past few years - with the possible exception of the white away shirt with red and black on the sleeve from a couple of years ago - but that new one is hideous.

    I'm still hoping it's fake. :(

Absolutely gorgeous kit for the 2012/13 season. One that will hopefully have Hamsik 17 on the back of course

Be hard to beat this season Milan jersey, but that is close.

Still rather this season, but new one is still very nice.

That's just porn plain and simple. Absolutely stunning.

This years home one is lovely also but I actually prefer the white one this year.

    Looks like a random €10 sport t-shirt.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31,949 ✭✭✭✭Mars Bar

If they didn't have the button down part on the chest from the collar, it would have been nicer. Still a neat jersey I think though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,224 ✭✭✭✭Marty McFly

Hav to say I like it, a nice simple classy looking jersey.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,907 ✭✭✭✭Xavi6

The three lions and crest should be in navy. The red is horrid.

That Milan shirt will be getting bought though. Long sleeve I think.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 27,252 ✭✭✭✭stovelid

The red three lions crest hasnt enough impact against the white shirt.

I don't know, the design looks kind of cheap, like training tops.

I think the club said these will be the kits for the next two years, maybe I misunderstood though.

Both those jerseys are terrible, especially the away shirt! Jaysus!

It's like the just gave someone a template, and that someone put the template into Photoshop, applied a gradient and washed their hands of it.

  • Registered Users Posts: 658 ✭✭✭CongoPowers

I never really mind about a team's jersey once they're playing, but yeah, the 'ran in the wash' look isn't great.

also home is too similar to PSG.

They put a star on the shirt for each of the four founding nations of the City

The French, the Irish, the Scots and the English.

    Nice apart from the sponsor

they should have insisted that the logo be in green

It's called brand awareness. The SEAT logo is officially red hence it's red on the jsersey. To change it would go against the SEAT brand promotion policy. Same as if it was Pepsi. We couldn't tell Pepsi to change their logo to suit the jersey.

A lot of companys change the primary colour of their logo to suit the jerseys

I think it's just the huge global teams that get that treatment. Pity.

The Rovers kit looks very nice.

I agree, I actually think the SEAT logo suits it because the letters arent that wide or long. Very nice jersey.

They could wear scraps of ragged grey thread and it would be better than the current abominable away pistachio coloured jersey.

That shamrock rovers jersey has a nice Mayo feel to it with the green and red.

Ps They are now destined for humiliating and devastating failure
