<snip> Have both of these on the 3rd of March, Saturday and then my driving test (FINGLAS test centre) on the Friday 9th of March(9:15 PM). Really can't wait to get my full licence now!
So anyone who has done lessons/pre tests did you find them useful?? And any tips for reverse around the corner? Has anyone passed their test in finglas and have you any advice on how to pass first time?? Thanks! :)

<snip> Can't speak for finglas though. Depends on the reverse and location. Generally, reverse slowly, mirrors and observation, steering and good clutch control is very important. If you on a fall of ground/incline, give a bit of acceleration. Not necessary need to use too much or any acceleration when reversing, mainly using the clutch and getting to biting point.

<snip>You can get video tutorials on youtube as well, loads of tips on how to do the reverse around the corner. Have a read of the 'Get it' book great book to read when preparing for the test.

    Best of luck Op

A reminder that discussion of named driving schools isn't allowed as per the forum charter.

Lcstress2012, you have received an infraction because you did the same 3 days ago, and were advised of the rule when Alanstrainor closed your thread.

Good luck in the upcoming test, however!
