This is the first time I've ever seen him displaying a Woods-like will to win and it's great to see. When he's playing like this, he's something special.

McIlroy played better in the semis but Mahan has been the form player all week. Very tough to call, but hopefully it'll be a good one.

Both Rory and Lee were professional in how they went about things today, I think people are looking for a bit of scandal where there isn't really any to be found. So they don't get on as well as they did in the past, big deal

Very poor on the 7th. A hole that he should have easily halved; he turns into a loss.

What you want in matchplay is that your opponent gifts you holes.

4-6-6 and Mahan goes 3 up without being put under any pressure.
