Netopia 2247 Firmware

    As the netopia site no longer exists, I was wondering where to get he latest firmware version, is see eircom have one here...http://broadbandsupport.eircom.net/download/netopia/firmware/

    is this the best version to get or is there a non branded one out there somewhere.... couldn't find it anywhere!

    After switching back from my zxyel router as the zxyle can't handle torrent traffic! It gets flooded the web doesn't work :-(

    There probably aren't going to be any updates to a modem that's so old.

    ah right, just wondering what the general guideline is for what constitutes and old thread? one which hasn't been replied to in the last month or so? as I wasn't sure....

    If any one is looking for the latest firmware update for eircom modems (Netopia or ZyXEL) please note that these are specifically customised with eircom settings in mind. Please don't try to download this firmware update from any other websites, as this could cause your modem to malfunction.
