Appealing an exam

I am looking at appealing one of my results as I feel that the grade doesn't reflect the content of work. Looking for advice/peoples experience, has anyone appealed any exams in ucd? How long did it take? I have reviewed the paper and spoken to the lecturer, this is my last option.

Never appealed a result myself but there's good information on the UCD website.

You have 30 days from the announcement of the final results in which to appeal.
