    Looking for advice:

Can you still get those sim card readers? and if so where?

I have a Nokia 6700S that I got from my insurance company 8 months ago. I hate it. My previous cable (from my 6700) doesn't work with it so I can't copy the data from the sim card/memory card. I got it as a replacement for my 2 month old 6700 I got in Feb 2011. (From meteor, sticking with them this time around)

I signed up for ovi.com about 12 months ago and uploaded all my data using my previous Nokia 6700, but now I see that Nokia are overhauling the site so it is unusable at present.

I am going to get an phone upgrade but don't want the hassle of physically copying all my numbers (again!) At this stage my sim card is many years old and so all my data is on the phone itself.

    Ideas? Thoughts? Random laughter?

well, if the numbers arent on the sim, a sim reader wouldnt be much use ;)
nokia pc suite and a usb micro cable should do the job.
last time i used it, you could back up to csv.
then import the csv into google contacts and that should be it.

no need to rely on ovi
