Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Change of first name?

My parents chose a some what unusual spelling of my first name and due to a clerical error there was a mistake on my short birth cert which corrected my first name into the more traditional version.

I’ve gone though life using my parents spelling but on my passport etc the traditional version is used. Id like to officially change this as every one knows me as X but there is some confusion when they see Y on any documentation.

Is it as straight forward as changing your second name by deed?

I should add its a minor spelling difference for example: Daved instead of David (not my name btw)

    Yes. It's exactly the same.
