Ok- Jedward will never win the grammy for best song, never win an Ivor novello for song writing.......
but jesus christ they give everything they do 110%

Hate them or love them, I dont think anyone can knock their infectious enthusiasm

and with the eternal doom and gloom that hangs over all our heads in this country

aren't they just a feckin brilliant distraction?? (whether ya want to put a bullet in their heads or not)

They make me ashamed to be Irish

I love The West Wing so much.
I would love to be able to vote for Jed Bartlett.

I liked it, but it tried to be far to clever at times with the rapid dialogue.. This sketch takes the piss out of it.

slept thru the first 2 songs and the third did not wake me up much so the recap was what i needed and on that the jeds were it
all ****e tho - all 'written for eurovision' not written for the love of a good song and that is the problem.
didn't they make people send in the songs, written, for the competition years ago and then someone in rte would play the song and they would shortlist based on that?

On the recaps, that middle "rock" one doesn't sound half bad.....

How were these 5 songs shortlisted?

    Who made the decisions?

Someone needs to be made responsible.

And you don't think the song had anything to do with it?

Also, the surprise/novelty act won't work this year!

I'd agree that the song isn't as good as last year but when it comes to staging, energy, getting people to remember you, likability (remember most people only have to see them for 3 minutes so won't realise how annoying they are) and just overall impact, Jedward blow the other four songs out of the water. (in my opinion anyway!)

    Jedward's song is so catchy...

I'm so close to feeling like i'm water tortured

DLB to ask him if he has any Irish in him. Ask what he thinks of our problems. Ask him about his son. What is he doing, any plans. Yawn, yawn. hopefully he'll get up out of his seat and mistake him for colonel Kurtz and kick the sh!t out of him

Jedward looked like gay Power Rangers.

If anyone other than Jedward get through, it'll be a miracle.

Explains why he was so especially creepy hiding in the freezer in the early ones doesn't it ;)
