Only Gaybo could have brought up the rape of Sheen's mother and get him to open up about it.

Apparently Sheen had mentioned it for the only time publicly in 1987 on the LLS and didn't even realise it. As I said, fascinating stuff...

yes, I would love to have a DVD of it, a masterclass in interviewing, and a hugely interesting interviewee.

Fair play to you for putting up with him and his simple ways, and cleaning his club when he arrives home after a day's hunting..

It does indicate why Louis Walsh wants Jedward back - some big markets there, very worthwhile sales.

    Thanks. :)

He'd be brilliant doing one of those spoken album type things, like William Shatner

This is my favourite William Shatner record :)

So the lesson here is you dont have to be a high flying urban banker to realize this is pure horse****?

    Thank you

Are you really sticking up for Jedward by referencing a country that thought David Hasselhoff was a great singer?

Stop putting words in my mouth.

    8th is 8th. I want to win!!!

We all do! But 8th was a massive improvement compared to other years. Baby steps and all that.

Anyway, can't believe we're getting into such a heavy debate over the eurovision :p

I hope your BF doesn't read these pages! :D

Sure being uneducated he wouldn't be able to read!

Sheen..I like to think i can spot the spoofers at this stage of my life.
    He's not one of them.

Jedward....Nailed on. But unreal how out of tune they were. Backing singers carried the song.

Mercy...Hard to believe this "performance" made it onto our screens. The self-assuredness of the mentor beforehand was laughable.

Last year, when Tubs announced Jedward as winners there were lots of boos from the audience . I think this year, there will be a collective sigh of relief if they win.

For a weird moment I thought Tubs was going to to tell us that after the break all acts would sing a medley a la Xfactor!!

    :):):)

    That's what is missing

To defend Mercy, if they improve the staging, it could do well.

I got the feeling that there were a lot of Eurovision die-hards (ie lunatics ;)) in last year's audience. This year they seem a bit more normal. :D

I painted myself in awful snotty light, what I meant to say about the 'uneducated Bf' was that he has not interest whatsoever in current affairs, goes to show how bad wrong wording can go..................
