I always preferred listening to Terry Wogan's commentary. Sorry Marty :(

The Late Late Show is the wrong audience to pick a winner for the Modern Eurovision.

Also every year Marty is on and guaranteed whatever song is picked , which will be Jedward, that he'll say 'Europe will really like this song'!

Marty was funny when he was on last year to be fair to him..

Serious canned laughter again tonight for Marty's "too much drinking" remark. ?

You seem to have left out the fact that the europeans take Eurovision very seriously and Jedward didnt do well last year and ill bet it will be the same this year as they are regarded as a joke by the other countries. And as for doing tours sure their fans are kids.

Didn't do well? They came eight!!! Jesus, how many times in the last ten years can we say we've done that well? Jedward did fantastic despite their ability and our track record!

According to wiki, you've got to go back to 2000 to find someone who ranked higher for Ireland than them.

Don't you read RTE's press releases? Ryan is being 'spontaneous' and 'unpredictable'.

It surely can't be the LLS audience that'll be deciding :confused:

Please tell me there'll be a phone vote....

Also, the fact that we won 7 times about 30 years ago (makes me feel awfully old!) doesn't mean that we'll ever ever win again.

Wasn't Niamh Kavanagh a class act though....

I like Marty, he seems like a really genuine guy but I think I'll stick with Peter Mathews. Mathews is very handsome for his age.

I don't think Jedward's song hits the euro spot - but if they get through fair play, but I really want Donna's song to win I seriously think it's got a great chance.

Anything happen yet? Was meant to Sky+ this for someone but only just remembered.

    - So far it seems to be just some charmless, slow-witted, talent-less bead-filled ventriloquists dummy talking to a cripplingly painful version of Tom Sellecks Granddad.

The FCA would be wearing nice heavy green suits.

Phone votes count for 50% and juries around the country count for 50%
