Mercenaries is one of the Asylum's "mockbusters". Maybe don't watch it?

I won't write Asylum off after watching Z Nation probably the most fun tv show of the year.

    Gold

    Added to UK/Ireland today.

Irish film starring Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones), James Nesbitt, Kerry Condon and David Wilmot.

Wilmot plays Ray who returns to his home town after 12 years away and tries to reconnect with the daughter he hasn't seen since he left. She's living with her mum and Ray's ex PE teacher played by Nesbitt.

There's a thread about it here.

I'm actually going to give Z Nation a go soon, but still, their movies have been pretty terrible.

    Watched Gold last night.

    Absolute garbage.

I really liked the sound of it but I found it neither funny nor poignant. Impossible to sympathise or identify or even give a feck about any of the characters.

    2 good points about it:

    Good soundtrack.
    It's short.

Bridgend - Documentary about a cluster of suicides in a small Welsh town. It's one of the saddest docs I have ever seen and had a truly shocking bit near the end, heartbreaking.

Tragic and hard to watch documentary as it should be given the subject.

    Well done to the filmmakers.

Protip: when searching moreflicks.com make sure to check 'Movies' when searching movies and 'TV Shows' when searching for TV shows. Seems elementary but I've been caught out a few times searching for things.

There's an upcoming programme on Netflix called Sense8 that looks pretty interesting. (See here.)

Meine Liebling Max Riemelt is in it so I'll definitely be watching it and Naveen Andrews from Lost.

8 strangers become connected is the very basic premise.

Will anyone else be watching it?:pac:

There's a Roaring Fire series on Neflix US.
3 episode, one hour long each.

    Episode 1: Fire
Episode 2: Fire with Christmas tunes
    Episode 3: Crackling Fire

Series is pretty mediocre until episode 3. About halfway
through the crackling fire really picks flame and is like a full on fire.

Yeah, wasn't impressed with this series. Real step down for George Ford after his ground breaking Aquarium series.
If the rumours that he's bringing in a convection heater for season two are true then I'm out.

BBC's Merlin series has been put up on UK Ireland flix. It's some good family fun with something for the ladies, or gentlemen who are so inclined.

Brilliant series! but I do think they should end it now on a high, I'd hate to see this show burn itself out.
