Watched the first 4 and it's all right. They spent a lot of money on everything except the scripts and storylines which are both terrible. Khan is excellent and the exotic atmosphere is really well done but Polo himself is pretty dull. I'll finish it over Christmas but as far as historical/fantasy drama goes this is more Spartacus than Game of Thrones.

Anyone give Marco polo a watch yet? Any use?

    im on episode seven......

its better than what the critics say. The women characters are brilliant in it.

The guy who plays marco polo lets it down though.

Its kind of like crouching tiger hidden dragon.

Worth checking out IMO. much better than what the critics say, but not excellent

Brilliant series! but I do think they should end it now on a high, I'd hate to see this show burn itself out.

It's better to burn out than to fade away.

New Pee-wee Herman Movie Produced By Judd Apatow Heading To Netflix
Paul Reubens will reprise his role as Pee-wee Herman in a new, feature-length film set to be produced by Freaks and Geeks creator Judd Apatow.

The film will be distributed exclusively through Netflix, according to TheWrap.

The deal hasn't been formally closed yet, but apparently the project moved from Universal Pictures to Netflix some time ago, according to TheWrap's sources, and it's just a matter of making it official at this point.

Sabotage (US) and Escape Plan (Belgium) both on Netflix now, for those of us still clinging to memories of Arnie.

Watched all of Marco Polo and enjoyed it. Im looking forward to a season 2. Would recommend it although it is getting mixed reviews, some of which are completely stupid like complaining that Marco is white or how the show is good but you have to watch it on a laptop so its bad.

I thought Marco Polo was great, some great characters, the martial arts is impressive and the quality of the costumes and sets are great.

Looking forward to season 2, i just hope it doesn't get canned..

Very worrying indications from MAFT that well over 100 titles are getting the chop by the end of next week.

It could just be contracts need to be renewed.

Any idea which ones are meant to be going?

I love that I scroll briefly down the front page of that site and see that the below has been added:

    Goal of the Dead
After finally making it to the pro leagues, soccer star Sam heads home for a relaxing respite but ends up in a death match with a horde of zombies.

    I know what I'm watching tonight :D

A lot of films expire at the end of every year - it's a festive tradition ;)

One would hope there's a whole bunch of new titles that will be introduced to make up for it. That's typically the case in the US anyway.

Those are the kind of updates I like with Netflix: decent, smaller films I missed catching in the cinema that promptly appear online (legally!) for everyone to enjoy. Just when I'm ready to cancel the sub, I get a reminder that it's not all ScyFy Original Movies and 5 year old films everyone has seen.
