Looking for a decent action to watch tonight? I'm on holiday all over at the moment, so any suggestion welcome.

I watched The Last Stand recently and found it to be ridiculously enjoyable. Arnold Schwarzenegger plays the city cop who retires to a small town to take up the position of sheriff. A high profile Mexican drug dealer has escaped FBI custody and is making his way towards the border via Schwarzenegger's town. Peter Stormare hams it up as the leader of a crack team of mercenaries hired to facilitate the drug lord's (Eduardo Noriega) escape. Forrest Whitaker is the grumpy FBI guy in charge of Noriega and there are a bunch of other roles, tropes and cliches that make this a lot of dumb fun.

It was directed by Kim Jee-woon who made The Good, The Bad and The Weird. It's kind of like a homage to US action/western films. Recommended if you like that sort of thing.

Canada and possibly a few others. moreflicks.com is a good site to use if you have a film/show in mind and want to check the regions.

Elaine Stritch: Shoot Me, a documentary about the remarkable life of Elaine Stritch (most recently "Colleen, the fearsome mother of Alec Baldwin's lead character, Jack Donaghy" in 30 Rock). Not something I thought I would have enjoyed, but she's a character and led an extraordinary life.

Prefer the book (and all the subsequent Renko books), but it's a great film. Some great performances, Lee Marvin and William Hurt are brilliant and even Michael Elphick proved he could act a bit in those days.

Just watching this now. If you enjoyed Birdman...watch the real deal. No self pity and a tough as nails hoofer.

Yea did the same yesterday myself (self inflicted hangover cure) but enjoyed season 3 much more than season 2 I have to say. Still have to watch Fargo as well.

I really wish Netflix would send you a weekly email with stuff they added that week in a table.

This periodic email stuff telling me about one movie is for the birds.

And if they could also send one telling you which content is on it's way out/due to expire.

Are New Zealand and Australia sharing a version, like we do with the UK or are they going to be 2 separate regions?
