Along with Blackfish, I see Ben Wheatley's Sightseers and David Gordon Green's Prince Avalanche are both up on US Netflix too.

Yeah, quite good for a small little film that no ones heard of.

A Norwegian film that by the looks of it, only played in one cinema in the US, on one screen, whilst the producers probably would have loved a worldwide success I imagine Europe and Scandinavia were probably where they were looking to make their money.

I see Safety Not Guaranteed is up on the Irish Netflix now. Good film featuring Aubrey Plaza who is very good imo.

Was just looking through 'My List' on Netflix US and the sheer amount of films expiring on Jan 1st is ridiculous. Loads of big films too, many of which haven't even been on there very long. Hopefully they plan on adding a huge amount of new titles to make up for it. It is very frustrating though when you add them to the list to watch them and they expire before you get the chance.

tbh I think the american netflix is going downhill at an incredible rate, there seems to be more stuff expiring than what is getting added, and the Irish Netflix has improved so much over recent months

Most of them will be back in a couple of days. Netflix just have to re-new contracts with the license holders. Happens all the time.

Happens all the time. A huge amount of content will disappear, only to reappear the month after. It's to do with rights issues and what not.

Well hopefully most of them do indeed reappear. Loads of articles online about all the titles expiring. http://www.examiner.com/article/netflix-purge-list-of-hundreds-of-movies-shows-to-be-gone-early-2014

last 6 months or so the content being added has really gone downhill, adding way too many cheap rubbish american reality shows,,, Ive had a good run with both the us and irish netflix, if content does not improve I think I will knock it on the head, and by more content I don't mean big hollywood blockbusters, they could add to their old movie and old tv show content....

I'd say that's just the dvd service, rather than the streaming Service.

If you have young families, then a couple of real decent Disney flicks came onto UK/IRL Netflix recently, 'Tangled' and 'The Princess and The Frog'.

Drinking Buddies has just been added to US Netflix, enjoyable film. It's definitely one for you if liked Jeff, Who Lives At Home, Puffy Chair Safety Not Guaranteed and the like.

jaxk reacher on US netflix now - watched the first hour of it last night, fairly dull stuff, like a tv show murder procedural show - I fell asleep, hope the second hour was a huge improvement - was it?

Now on Irish Site a great music Doc on the great drummer Ginger Baker

It is more focused on his very interesting and crazy life than his playing but it makes for great viewing.
