The documentary Surfwise has been added to the Irish site. On the surface it looks like a sports documentary but it's not really, it's more a sightly disturbing portrait of a pretty messed up family. Closer to Capturing the Friedmans than Endless Summer.

Must definitely check it out. Too few surfing related stuff on Netflix.

Watched a brilliant docu last night called 'The Crash Reel'. It's the true story of snowboarder Kevin Pearce. Highly recommended. It's up on Netflix Mexico amongst other regions.

Bates Motel on the US Netflix is an excellent show.

Safety Not Guaranteed is also superb.

The Nancy Kerrigan/Tonya Harding doc The Price of Gold is up on US Netflix, I'm not a sports fan, I don't even remember the incident but I heard a great song about it once and wanted to see what really happened. It ended up being a fantastic doc, really enjoyed it. It's one of those 30 for 30 docs that ESPN does I think.

Had my first taste of Netflix Mexico last night with A Place Beyond the Pines.

Good movie, shame about the hardcoded Spanish subtitles though!

Haven't tried this yet myself (someone posted it earlier in the thread so I'm not claiming to be the one to have found it!), but you might find it useful.

Cheers for that. Read the book (Jo Nesbo) so looking forward to seeing it now.

Two episodes into Bates Motel, I'm liking it so far. Its a different spin on the story to the film.

Blue is the warmest colour;) Thank F its subtitled as I had to mute it occasionally .

Bad Milo on American netflix. It's about a man who has a demon living up his ass. :D Doesnt take itself serious, is quite bloody but is really funny.

There's a lot of faces i recognise in it as well. Very funny creature feature type movie.

Read that as faeces, which kinda makes sense.

The Hunt - one of the best films i have seen in ages. I think its Danish starring Mads Mikkelson as a teacher accused of a crime he did not commit. Brilliant stuff.

Just finished that too this evening. A simple but effective story told well and convincingly. Would recommend.

Watched Jack the Giant Slayer on Norwegian Netflix, far from a classic but enjoyable enough all the same.

Last night it was 42, about Jackie Robinson the first black major league baseball player. Harmless fluff that passed the time but very very very manipulative and cliched. It did have a few decent moments though and there was slight charm to how old fashioned the whole thing was.

Quite a lot of stuff on the Norwegian one that's not on the US, Canadian or Irish catalogs including The Master, Gangster Squad and Cloud Atlas and unlike the south american ones you can turn off the subtitles.

Some decent (or at least, titles I've heard of) added to the Canadian Netflix:

    The Bourne Trilogy
    Project X
    The Rum Diary
    Dream House
    Drinking Buddies
    Forgetting Sarah Marshall
    Scott Prilgrim Vs The World
    New Years Eve
    Boss Season 1 & 2
