I need repaint the back wall of the house. It's pebble dash so a sprayer would be best, I think. Does anyone know if the Lidl one is worth the money?

Assuming that you are going to paint the wall with masonry paint, I wouldn't expect any electric sprayer like that to handle it. Generally, to spray masonry paint you need a specialised pressure pot, air compressor, and a spray gun designed to handle thick paints containing mica.

Others more expert here might correct me, but I have never found any masonry paint that could be sprayed with anything else. A complete set-up of compressor, pot, gun and hoses would set you back a number of hundreds of euros, so it's unlikely that an el-cheapo from Lidl will do it.

    Simple answer is.......NO.

More power in 1 of my farts than in that Lidl yoke.

You need to hire out a propper/professional pneumatic or pressurised paint spraying machine from any hire shop for about 30-35 euro a day.

This will be more than able to spray on the thick external masonary paint.

Hire it on a Friday and you get to keep it for the weekend.

Good tip hire on the weekend, heard the lid sprayers weren't that good.

Quick question, internal walls just slabbed and scimed, how to prepair before painting, PVA coats?

Watered down matt emulsion white paint.

Water it down by 20-30% and paint it onto the fresh/dry skim.:)

Get yourself a roller and a brush, if you have never used a sprayer before you are asking for trouble.

The power in a professional airless/air assisted sprayer is really high, the overspray from them can go for miles and your neighbours will not be impressed!

Plus you will have to cover windows and doors properly if your going spraying. you will have it rolled while you would be prepping for spraying!
