Removing a stain from an oil table cloth

    My busy three year old decided to draw on the oil table cloth in biro.
    I've tried to scrub it off with a spray cleaner- no avail!

    any suggestions?

    I've seen a pencil rubber take pen marks of PVC tablecloths.

    Methylated spirits should dissolve biro. Not sure what it might do to the tablecloth though.
    A bit of whiskey/rum/vodka on a hard cloth might shift it and with less risk of damage.
