Surely you should ignore the things that annoy you?

I know advertising doesnt that way so in this case wouldnt it be prudent to not mention the ads that annoy you

Not so much the ad as the product. The dettol no touch hand pump. It makes no sense as you'd be washing off any germs you would get from touching the thing!

O' right - now I know what you were asking about.
Genuinely didn't understand what you were asking.

I try to ignore a lot of adverts but even then some like "Go Compare" are just plain annoying and irritating before I can even reach for the remote to mute their crap.

Anyone that makes an advert so irritating, I also most definitely do not buy their products.
I make a point not to.

Indeed. Clever advertising will always win out in the end over advertising that is just plain annoying

Ads for 48, the new mobile phone company.

Beautiful Americans in their twenties enjoying a decadent party, nothing like being between 18 and 22 in Ireland.

Where are the young girls with blue legs teetering between cobblestones in their heels?

Where's the queue of lads with gelled hair and check shirts waiting in the rain on a cold Tuesday night to get into a ****ty nightclub?

Where's the curry cheese chip in Supermacs at 3.30 am, and the girl making her way home in the cold grey light of 7am with it still staining her dress from the night before?

    I agree.
If I see an advert that is clever, well made and actually sometimes make you think after it's even over, I'd be more interested to even just learn more about what they are trying to sell.

I don't know which advertisements on the TV annoy me as I don't watch them thanks to a brilliant new invention called a remote control.

Any way advertisements are just one arm of the lizard peoples NWO in cahoots with the zombie Jews diabolical scheme to control our minds. WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!

Hopefully they don't see through my ingenious ploy to communicate safely over the internet.

Not as bad as Cheryl Cole in the loreal ads though. Mine would be the ads for women's sanitary towels. I don't feel like rollerblading or going out boogieing or anything of the sort during that time of the month just because of the sanitary towel I'm using and those hair reviver thingies for mens receeding hairlines where men can finally swim, get the convertible and the girl just cos of a few more locks of hair.
