Book Clubs - Directory?

    Anyone know whether there is any kind of directory of book clubs in the Dublin area? There must be hundreds of such groups, I would guess, but has anybody made a list of them? Such a list or directory would be useful both for existing book club members and for others who might be looking for a suitable book club to join or seek membership of.

    I'd be interested in a relatively young age group - 20 to 25. Always threatening to join a book club but have never followed through with it.

    I always wonder if there are actually any "specialised" book clubs out there. For instance, I'm mainly into crime, thrillers, police procedurals and Scandinavian authors. I would love to find a book club where people would only read that sort of thing and get to discover even more similar books/writers.

    I know that variety is the spice of life and I also enjoy other types of books including non-fiction, but I always find that there are a few books I don't really care for with a regular book club...
