Didn't sleep well last night for some reason, and was too wrecked to go for a run before work. I'm also in a foul mood for some reason which isn't nice seeing it's a Friday.

I've a 5.5 mile run pencilled in for tomorrow morning, should be interesting. I had planned to do the Dublin marathon this year but I'm thinking I won't get into shape in time so I may set the half marathon as my ultimate goal this year. Will see anyway.

Running can be a bit tough at the start, I find the first mile a bit of a slog. But once I get through that, I'm usually fine and can keep going. Although what I really like about running are those days when you are just flying along, faster than you've gone before, and it feels totally and utterly effortless. You feel like you have limitless energy and speed. My guess is that is what Superman must feel like all the time

Good atmosphere in the Stadium. Got back after 4am, so just woke there now around 1pm. Slight drama on the plane home as they air crew asked if there was a nurse/doctor on board. Then they started grabbing two hefty looking cases from the first aid section. Think all was OK in the end as the passenger concerned was escorted off by a paramedic after the plane was met by an ambulance. No stretcher, or flight diversion, etc.
