    Does anyone know if I buy a product in a store, am I allowed to resell that product or do I need either the retailers or manufacturers permission to sell it?

    It's yours, you can do what you like with it. Unless it's covered by legal stuff i.e. booze, cigarettes, lottery products.
    Some retailers may have an issue with you selling on their own branded goods.
