Hi, just wondering what should be done in the case of a man being made redundant after 3 years working and the employer saying that he isn't entitled to a payment?

Sorry to see you are been made redundant without this issue on top of it. As you have not given much detail about your job, it is hard to answer. you should contact NERA and they will fill you in on your rights and entitlements. hope it all works out for you.

Thanks skyline. It's not myself thankfully, it's a young fella I had a pint with last night. I'll tell him that.
He had been with a building contractor but the work has dried up.
