galaxy europa sms tone?

    i can't seem to get a audible tone for incoming messages and google talk

    messages are there alright but no sound

    the phone isn't on silent and all the volume is turned up full

    any ideas thanks?

    Go into settings > Sound> Notification Ringtone & click on anyone of the list. Is nothing happening when you do that?

    Are you running the stock firmware or did you install another version?

    is there any way of resetting phone without losing data and apps
    I already tried a reset in message settings

    Well I stuck Madrom 2.5 on mine with the result that it would'nt reboot:eek: In ICU at the mo so I don't have it to hand to give you help:o
