Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

zombie jesus no! You need to give it a full check, or be willing to accept that you might have to spend thousand(s) on engine work and/or other maintenance.

Even if the seller says it's grand you'll have no come back, and you're relying on the technical competence of the seller.

Try arrange someone else to take a look if you are really interested and can't get to see it, maybe a helpful local biker from a forum or a mechanic who might be willing to do the job for you.

Well, I did. Twice. With eBay theres no other way anyway. I bought an enduro bike and a DR200. No problems.

But, unless you're buying very new, or from a shop, no.

You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

I suppose it depend on how badly you want the bike ....and if theres no others like it. I bought a bike ,admittedly off a good mate, but the bike had been in his basement for 20 years ,and the basement was in England !! I had once seen it by peering under the very dusty blanket ......but if you want it bad enough !!!!.....have it 6 years now and love it !!!!

    OP don't do it.

I've bought a good few motocross bikes over the years and not a hope would i buy one without going to see. I'm sure you can get someone to give you a lift down and then get a courier to bring it home for you. Just don't buy it without you or someone you trust seeing it first.

if you are buying as a restore project then fine but to buy a bike you want to use NO NO NO its wirth the trip and cost to see for yourself,,better than getting a bike that needs major work,,never trust video or pics cos they might just be of a simular bike,,,,,don't do it is my advice...

    No way!
I bougt mine on ebay though. But then went and collected in Southhampton, UK. Was spotless, the pics did not do the justice. It was 2 yrs old, so fairly new, and the mileage was relatively low - only 6K miles. I took a risk waisting trip money getting there, but it was worth it.
To buy without seeing makes no sense here. Look locally. There will always be something! :)
