Nice to see some Judge stand up for a phone user, this guy was basically sold and Unlimited data plan but was being throttled when he went over a certain allowance. The Judge ruled in his favor that he should not have been throttled as he had an unlimited data plan and awarded him $850. It now leaves the door wide open for any of AT&T's customers to seek a similar Judgement if they have been affected.

The Full story is here, http://news.yahoo.com/judge-awards-iphone-user-850-throttling-case-195042925.html

For example o2's unlimited data is advertised here as unlimited but you only get a tiny 700mb allowance and a lot of people have got caught out with this. This story might give some hope to anyone who'd got ripped off or throttled on an unlimited data plan here trying to get their money back.

Unlimited is Unlimited, to call it anything else is fraud. I wish the consumer association or comreg would control the use of the word unlimited here, it's a sham what it being passed off as unlimited here by some networks at the moment.
