Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    hi Boardsies,

My friends were messing with my iphone, changed the passcode and ended up that the phone was disabled with the red screen.

Syncd it with itunes and currently doing a restore, will the passcode still be on the phone when its restored???

i have no idea what it was changed to!!

if you have any idea please reply,
    Thanks!

If you are restoring as a new phone the passcode will be gone, but if your restoring from a backup then the passcode set at the time of that backup will also be restored.

Do your friends not remember what they changed it to? I don't see how they could have changed it without knowing what they changed it to.

This really p!/s me off for those of us that have had an idevice stole lost whatever and had a pass code enabled you just sync it with iTunes set up a new device and there ya go a nice new iphone ipad. That does not make sense! It should be much harderd to get around this, I understand that the pass code is really there to stop people picking up your idevice and going through it.

Back to the originall post tho.How did your friends get your original pass code?as it must be entered to set up a different one?
