Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    *sigh*

If you want to start a subtle thread to knock someone, the least you could do is post the material relevant to your post!

I'd have an get a swimming pool and fill it up with the ink and go swimming in it every day.

Either that or I'd use it as lube.

Hmmm I could design and print the most fabulous bespoke wallpaper and decorate every room in my mother's largish 3 bed semi. She was complaining recently that she can't find any wallpaper she likes.

Give it to an infinite amount of monkeys with an infinite amount of typewriters.

Or write 'Fcuk of Germany' on the moon.

I'd imagine it's easier when it is your own. Seeing as how you'd have it in your pocket.

Poor it into the Liffey and get tourists over to view it. Bottle the said water, so they can bring home special Irish water.

OR!! Stick it at the end of the Large Hadrin Collider and see what happens it. I reckon it'll either turn into butter, or a dolphin. Maybe a butter dolphin.

Actually, Id shoot it up into space and see what a gravity free liquid would act like.

How on earth does one INK cartridge cost 128 Euro ??
You could buy two printers with ink for that price these days. And I presume they buy wholesale...There's probably a bigger crime in there somewhere.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,937 ✭✭✭patwicklow

3,5 million pages of a4 paper wow

I suspect that some Shinners were looking for cartridges - and he sent them a lorry load of the wrong type. You could say he jumped the gun on that one :D

For that cost I'm guessing it was papyrus hurtled through a time machine from ancient Egypt.

3.5 million sheets is 7000 reams.

Taking that he wasnt printing full duplex then:

    7000 reams @ approx Euro2 equates to 14000.

Lazer printer colour cartridges easily cost that.

Probably is not ink but toner. Dont think they ll use desktop inkjet printers over there.

    3.5 million sheets/500 sheets per ream = 7000 reams @ 2.5KG (assuming 80gms weight) = 17.5 tonnes of paper! Is that right?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,235 ✭✭✭✭Cee-Jay-Cee

Keep it until they developed ink fuelled cars...its going to happen at some stage, Anus Ó Snotface obviously has an inside line on its development and is hoarding it.

I'd probably use it to print new serials on a few million quid of Northern Bank notes.

7000 reams would be equivalent to 3

45ft trucks loaded with pallets of paper

Strangely enough, they used some paper but the amount of envelopes that could be found in the Dail and used, was much greater.
The fella doing the stationary ordering couldn't explain it.
He said the delivery chap must be constantly giving them too many envelopes, they were dumped everywhere!

    Strange stuff! :pac:

    ;)
