    ive been a strict vegan for 4 years but ate a sausage recently does that count?

    Please explain what you mean by `does it count`?

    Why are you bothered if it `counts` or not. You made a choice to put something in your mouth. Its your mouth, you put whatever you like in it.

    Does it count for what? What I mean is that being vegetarian/vegan is usually quite a personal choice so you're only breaking the 'rules' you've set out for yourself, I don't think it's for anyone else to declare that you are now no longer vegan (if that's what you're wondering?). Some people slip, I wouldn't worry about it too much.
