Hi, I raised the idea in the garden forum of creating a couple of megathreads on two of the regular veg topics. Finally after a month of mainly correspondence on my part one of the mods got back to me I told me to go ahead. So how do I create a megathread? Isn't that only within the powers of a Mod because they have to…

Hi,

I raised the idea in the garden forum of creating a couple of megathreads on two of the regular veg topics. Finally after a month of mainly correspondence on my part one of the mods got back to me I told me to go ahead. So how do I create a megathread? Isn't that only within the powers of a Mod because they have to merge the previous related topic threads into the Megathread?

Yes it is.

You need the permission of the moderator in question if you want to create a mega thread on a particular issue, so be sure to PM a moderator and ask for them to grant permission for you to put the Tag: "Mega Thread:" in the subject.
