Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anyone know where I can get an iTrip in Galway? And are they any good? If not, can anyone suggest something like it that can be bought here? Playing music from iphone, is there a any charge to use it, playing from existing library?

HMV, Currys, PCWorld, Maplin may also do a version of it?

HMV definetly stock Griffin products down the back ( they make the itrip, dont they?) but they arent cheap.

If its for a car, have you got an aux input on the car stereo? A 3.5mm to 3.5mm stereo lead from the ipod/iphone would work & sound alot better than an iTrip would.

3.5mm is a great idea, will check maplin for a lead tomorrow. Thanks for the help.

Halfords but tbh I find these cumbersome.

Does your car stereo have bluetooth? If so you don't need anything else, the phone will comms with the stereo over BT.

3.5mm socket would be on the back of the stereo, I didn't even think of it 'til mentioned above.

As regards bluetooth Biko, it's one of the older stereos so it doesn't have this option. Going changing the car next year, so 3.5mm would be the best option.

Iphones only stream music to a2dp compatible headunits so unless you have one of them you cant, was planning on getting one myself but cash reserves dictate otherwise at the minute... :(

Bluetooth headunits will still allow calls on the iphone but for music it needs to be an a2dp compatible one.
