Hi, just got my bill today and its double what it used to be in our previous home, the "previous reading" number has an "e" beside it I assume this means its estimated, and the "current reading" has an "a" beside it. Could someone please explain what this means and tell me if this has anything to do with how our bill has effectively doubled.

    Thanks.

    Hi Deker,

Yes, that's correct for an estimate.

And "A" means "actual" - so it was read, and the current bill is likely to include the balance from the last billing period due to under-estimation.

Is your new residency similar to your previous one?

    Regards :)
    Una
