old nokia 6100 won't ring out

anyone know how to get this phone ringing again? I've been in settings, checked tone settings, everything to max and yet when I call I hear nothing. In Phone settings I selected start up tone to see if that made a noise and I could hardly hear it. dunno if the two are related. edit - fixed it, took off back removed…

edit - fixed it, took off back removed battery, refitted battery and presto!
