    A new (but now cancelled) class of destroyer for the USN.
    There will be just 3 eventually.

    Remarkable in its hull design and power plant & its massive size.
    eg: The ships power plant generates 58 mega-watts of surplus power over & above what the vessel needs itself.
    Whereas the current mainstay, the Arleigh Burke class generates 9 mega-watts in total to run everything on the ship

    Obviously the Ruski navy don't switich on their AIS, but they have a sizeable tug in the flotilla who does have to have AIS, so watch their progress here!
