Why limit yourself to just music, stick a HDMI graphics card in there as well and install XBMC for a full HTPC

For an audio only jukebox, I've used 'SKJukeBox' and a numeric keypad.
Displays coverart in the same way as a pub jukebox, sliding over one another.
Set up some spare keys on keypad to flick through alphabetically as well.

maybe i'm missing the point, but wouldnt you pick up a half decent mp3 player and docking station for the price of some sound cards

What Zilog said, if you can get a touchscreen monitor even better. Connect the sound to a good amp and speakers and you have a really good juke.
Make sure you 'rip' (cough) in Flac or a high quality mp3 though, you can hear the difference when amped properly.
Yes you can do it with an mp3 player and dock but it wont be the same as a juke with good amping.
